22-year-old New Orleans based singer-songwriter Benjamin Booker, Rough Trade Records' newest signing, releases his debut single 'Violent Shiver' today. Booker's debut album, produced by Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray For The Riff Raff), will be released this Autumn (full details coming soon!) via Rough Trade (ATO Records in the United States). The 7" is available to order and the MP3 can be downloaded now. Booker will be opening for Jack White on a series of US July dates and after his first UK headline tour in May will play a series of US dates with Courtney Barnett.
